are a small home based business in rural Southwest
Missouri. Founded
originally by Becky Long McBroom in 1997, Mystick Scents has grown
tremendously. Becky started by learning about herbs and the huge benefits
they can have on everyday life. She also studied essential oils and the
more she learned -- the more she had to know! She believed that every
plant and tree was put here for a purpose; cures for illnesses and
ailments are within those plants and trees if we would just search within the natural and
study instead of going for quick fixes.
Becky and her husband have decided to move on to bigger and better
things. In April of 2006, she decided to sell the business to me! My name
is Debbie Davenport. Becky has been a great friend and teacher to me over
the years that we've worked together. She will continue to be a great
friend and teacher as I do my best to keep the
quality of products in tact and also the business integrity that Becky
worked so hard to build.
We have
changed the direction of Mystick Scents, perhaps not permanently but we will continue
to create soaps designed to care for your skin. Previously, our products
included items such as lotions, creams, bath oils and other bath and body
products. We will now only be making our glycerin soaps and goat's
milk soaps, and hopefully create more new and exciting soaps as well! We will continue to learn
more about natural ingredients and the nasty chemicals used in many
commercial products today, only we will be focusing on soap making. We want our
soaps to be good for your skin -
and above all, chemical free and as natural as possible! Why use soaps that are filled with chemicals and ingredients you can't even
pronounce? If you only need a few ingredients to get the desired effect
then why add more? Be sure to read our very informative articles to learn
